Over the years the Royal Northern and University Club has earned a reputation for fine dining in handsome surroundings, recalling a gracious, less hurried era.
The service in the main Dining Room assures Members and guests that the age of elegance lives on as a Club tradition. Menus cater for all tastes and appetites, from business luncheons to formal dinners.
Members can entertain family, friends, and business colleagues in the stylish Reynolds Room, in the privacy of the Library, or in the delightful Garden Room, which faces on to the private garden. The Club prides itself on the wide selection of fine wines from around the world, of which many come from the Club's special reserves, and which are offered to Members at highly favourable rates.

Freshly cooked, with Continental options also offered. A Continental breakfast is available for house-guests on Saturdays and Sundays.
Our lunch menu changes every month, but Club favourites — Haddock and Chips, Mince and Tatties, and our popular cold buffet — are always available.
May Lunch MenuSpoil yourself, friends and family, or impress clients with the fine dining experience at the Club, complemented by a choice from our extensive wine list. The Reynolds Room, Garden Room and Library may be booked for private parties. Pre-theatre dining can be arranged on request.
May Dinner MenuA wide selection of wines, spirits, liqueurs, local beers, and soft drinks. The private patio is a superb location to enjoy any fine weather with a drink in your hand.
Throughout the year the Club holds various events for Members and guests. Fine dining, themed dining, drink tastings, musical evenings, and speakers' events are a mainstay of the Club's calendar.
